SAMPLER ASSETS FOR THE MICROBIOLOGICAL AIR SAMPLING "MICROFLOW ALFA"

The Microflow α has been specially developed for sampling airborne biocontaminanti (eg fungal spores, bacterial cells, etc.). The purpose of such sampling is essentially to verify and quantify the presence of potentially harmful micro-organisms in order to perform an exposure assessment or identification of their source and thus be able to implement appropriate corrective actions.

Principle of operation: The air to be sampled is sucked at a constant speed for a variable time, which depend on the nature of the environment to control, through a cylinder head equipped with holes. The air flow is conveyed on the surface of a plate containing the culture medium chosen according to microbiological research that you want to perform. After the sampling time, the plate is removed and placed to incubate. At the end of the incubation period it will be possible to count the number of colonies developed per cm2 and to estimate the level of contamination of the air intake.

Fields of application:

restricted areas
hospitals
pharmaceutical industries
Company Food and lattierocasearie
of dell'ariaimpianti treatment plants water purification
working environments subject to controls as required by D.L. 155/97 (HACCP), and D.L. 81/2008

The tool was developed in accordance with:

UNI EN ISO 14698-1: 2004
UNICHIM method No. 1962-2

TECHNICAL FEATURES

Chassie polyurethane disinfected (inside coated with silver paint) and shockproof
alphanumeric display for the presentation of the menus and displaying all "operations step by step". The presentation of the various menus can be selected to be chosen from the following five languages: Italian, English, French, German and Spanish
Indication on the display of alarm signals (eg. Low battery, etc.).
control panel with membrane keyboard
aspirating head anodized aluminum autoclavable, with bayonet mount
Microflow α 60: 219 head with conical holes (ø 1 mm)
plate support structure made of anodized aluminum sterilizable, with coupling springs of spring steel plates
Microflow α 60: you can use contact plates 60 ± 2 mm
LED light ON / OFF for the verification of the activation of the instrument
Sampling rate: 30 - 60 - 90 - 100 - 120 l / min.
The flow rates are calibrated using a calibration system developed by the Politecnico di Milano - Department of Aerospace Engineering (report n ° 377/2003) and dall'I.N.RI.M certificate. Turin (certificate No. 10-0114-01 / 2010)
the calibration check function (with correct button)
the quantity of air sucked programming variable from 1 to 2000 liters, with steps of 1 liter. E 'can also set a manual sampling, if you want to activate the suction indefinitely
Possibility of sequential sampling as indicated by the ISPESL guidelines
Setting a delay start
Remote switch with remote control (able to pass through the glass) to the remote control the start of sampling
Storing 160 samples (date, time, sample volume and sample flow rate) and USB port to download the data to a PC, WINDOWS compatible (according to GLP - Good Laboratory Practice - and GMP - Good Manufacturing Practice)
Operation in rechargeable batteries without memory effect with autonomy of about 4 - 5 hours (for a continuous sampling with flow rate 1.5 l / s). Battery charger (220 V) with full charging time of about 4 hours
Possibilities of electrical power
What compensated models: flow compensation to vary the supply voltage of the battery and the eventual loss of load due to plates of dimensions different from those of the plate used for calibration. With these templates you can then use any type of Petri dishes on the market. In the case in which the compensation system can not maintain the flow rate constant, the system enters the overflow and the instrument freezes
Dimensions: 310 x 130 x 170 mm (L x W x H)
Weight: 1.9 kg
Working conditions:
Temperature: 0-50 ° C
Humidity: 20 to 80% non-condensing

The kit consists of:

carrying case
sampler
IR remote control
torch flambatore
instruction manual in Italian
calibration report
